Transparency is tantamount to Dragonfly. It's in our DNA and it's what separates us from recruiters. A freelancer's contact details are never hidden and when you want to talk to speak with one, simply pick up the phone and call them.

Curation system
You are the quality of your work. It's your reputation, and your reputation will suffer if your standards drop. We feel exactly the same way. As a result, not every freelancer that applies makes it onto Dragonfly. If you do, it means you're one of that special breed that understands the value of doing great work and the rewards that brings.

Pay as you go
The key to our transparency is our unique pricing model. Agencies pay only when they use a freelancer, and most importantly the prices are fixed. Agencies pay $99 per freelancer, per week they work. No commissions, no percentages of salary.

We're not recruiters
Sure, we might be in recruitment but we're not recruiters. We preserve transparency, we give you the tools you need to manage your work and we'll never ever get in the way of you doing business with those you need to reach quickly and easily. Lets face it, the recruitment model is fundamentally broken and we're here to fix it.
How it works
Easy email interface
Freelancers
After you're accepted into Dragonfly you'll start to get availability emails on Fridays. Choose how busy you're going to be over the next couple of months and we'll keep the agencies up to date. If circumstances change, you can get onto the website at any time and update your availability.
Agencies
We help you plan your work week by sending you an update email of available freelancers on Mondays. Got some freelancers you love to work with? 'Follow' them in our system and you'll get in depth availability information within your weekly email.

The process of getting onto Dragonfly starts with getting in touch with us. Usually we'll reach out to promising freelancers and let them know about the service, or you can get in touch with us via phone or email.

Next we take a look at your work. Are you on Github? or Dribble? Which agencies have you worked for? How long have you been working in the industry for? These are great indicators of experience and skills.

If it all checks out then welcome to Dragonfly, you're on your way to working with some of the best local creative agencies in your area!
